Dale Ischiapractitioners

With over 16 years in private practice, Dale is one of the most experienced Exercise Rehabilitation practitioners currently operating in Melbourne. Such is the respect for her work within the industry, she has regularly been seconded to design and implement Exercise Rehabilitation programs in many public and private companies including Crown Casino and Nine Network Television.

Dale’s long and distinguished career has involved stints consulting to renowned medical clinics such as Metropolitan Spinal Clinic, Brighton Spinal and Sports Medicine Clinic and Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (SA). She is currently recommended by many of Melbourne’s top surgeons and medical specialists as a preferred provider of Exercise Rehabilitation programs. Dale thrives on continually extending her skill base, gaining several further qualifications including a Diploma of Remedial Massage since completing her Masters Degree. She incorporates her wide-ranging body of knowledge into her treatment methodology with an enviable rate of success in the treatment of chronic back pain, chronic fatigue, stroke rehabilitation, balance issues, pre & post hip replacement, cancer recovery and various lesser known conditions.

As a former director of the Victorian Chapter of national body, ESSA, she has played a significant role in the development of career paths for Exercise Physiologists and continues to ‘fly the flag’ in Government, Insurance and Medical circles.

Lauren Young 

Lauren is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. Lauren is enthusiastic about further education and improving her skills having recently gained her Cancer Exercise Trainer qualification with the American College of Sports Medicine.

In her 3 years since graduation, Lauren has demonstrated a relentless commitment to ensure she implements best practice exercise prescription with the aim of improving the lives of Australian men and women with cancer and chronic conditions. She has worked in private practice prescribing exercise for a wide range of conditions, including cancer, and has previous experience working in both public and private hospitals.

Lauren is a rising star in the field of exercise oncology with invited speaker presentations this year at the Leukaemia Foundation and the Olivia Newton-John Wellness Centre on the benefits of exercise for those with a cancer diagnosis. Lauren is an outstanding Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about providing treatment that is evidence-based, client-centred, and improves the quality of life of the individual.

When away from work, Lauren keeps active through running and rock climbing and spends her downtime with family and close friends.

Matthew Azzopardi

Matthew is an enthusiastic and caring Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology whose passion for health and wellbeing stems from enjoying many physical activities from a young age, including a semi-professional dance career.

Matthew has undertaken further training in exercise oncology, including prostate cancer, to assist him to apply his professional focus in helping people, throughout all stages of cancer treatment live healthy and stable lives.

Matthew’s passion for the role of exercise as part of the best medicine provides the foundations for collaboratively developing and prescribing individually tailored exercise plans, to assist others to achieve their health and personal goals.

Matthew enjoys being challenged clinically, prescribing exercise for a wide range of health & musculoskeletal conditions, specifically;
